Student involvement in career-related activities in student-based organizations is used as a measure of appreciation for the effect of professional development. A student organization engagement in professional activities translates into numerous quantifiable benefits to the program. These further reinforce the achievement of the student outcomes. The Department encourages the students to join one of the two active student chapters (Society of Petroleum Engineers-SPE Student Chapter and ag赌博-AIChE Student Chapter) that play a major role in exposing the department and students to the outside world.

Society of Chemical Engineers, AIChE Student Chapter

ag赌博-AIChE Student Chapter (Established 21st, June 2017) is part of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). AIChE is the world's leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, with more than 60,000 members from more than 110 countries. AIChE has the breadth of resources and expertise chemical engineers need whether they are in core process industries or emerging areas, such as translational medicine.

The Establishment of this student chapter comes as an effort from the department to amplify students' skills and expand their perceptions about chemical engineering by connecting the theoretical part of learning with the practical part by conducting various events throughout the academic year and enhance the experiences of students and help them in their personal development. This comes after 16 years of success by the Society of Chemical Engineering (SChemeE) at the university which was locally established and authorized at ag赌博 in 2001.
